Description

A delicious weeknight dinner featuring juicy chicken breasts coated in zesty lemon pepper seasoning and topped with rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts liberally with lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, melt the garlic butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Take it out from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes to lock in the juices.
  7. Serve the chicken drizzled with the garlic butter sauce and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before seasoning for better browning. You can substitute chicken with turkey or plant-based alternatives. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
