Description
Delicious, gooey bars made with Lucky Charms cereal and marshmallows, perfect for kids’ parties and nostalgic treats.
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter (plus extra to butter the pan)
- 1 1/2 bags mini marshmallows (15 oz bags)
- 6 cups Lucky Charms Cereal
- 1 bag white chocolate chips (12 oz)
- 4 drops green food coloring
Instructions
- Butter a 9×13-inch baking pan lightly and set it aside.
- Put 4 Tbsp butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave about 20–30 seconds until melted.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir to combine.
- Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave another 30 seconds until the marshmallows are smooth and glossy.
- Quickly fold in 6 cups Lucky Charms cereal until every piece is evenly coated with marshmallow.
- Press the mixture into the greased pan using wet hands or a sheet of wax paper.
- Chill the pan in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up the bars.
- When set, cut into squares.
- Prepare the green chocolate dip by melting the white chocolate chips, add green food coloring and mix until evenly tinted.
- Dip the bottoms of each square into the melted green chocolate. Place on wax paper to cool.
- Let the chocolate set fully, then serve.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute vegan butter, vegan marshmallows, and dairy-free white chocolate chips.
