Description

A delightful dish of tender chicken, creamy sauce, and flavorful pasta, perfect for romantic dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 large Chicken Breasts, boneless, skinless, sliced thinly
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil, for searing
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 8 oz Pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine)
  • Fresh Basil, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot, add pasta, and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; cook for an additional 2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for about 3 minutes. Then add heavy cream and stir until combined.
  5. Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve hot garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

You can substitute the chicken with mushrooms or tofu for a vegetarian version. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
