Ingredients
- 12 Medjool dates
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Chopped nuts (optional, e.g., walnuts or pistachios)
- Sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully pit each Medjool date by slicing them open slightly.
- Fill each opened date with a generous spoonful of mascarpone cheese.
- Arrange the stuffed dates on a baking sheet, making sure they’re not overcrowded.
- Drizzle maple syrup over each stuffed date, allowing it to seep in.
- Optionally, sprinkle chopped nuts and add a pinch of sea salt if desired.
- Bake the dates for about 10 minutes, just until they’re warm.
- Serve immediately for a delightful treat.
