Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain once done.
- In a skillet, brown the sausage along with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the sausage is thoroughly cooked.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes for the flavors to meld.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti with cream cheese until well combined.
- Layer half the spaghetti in a greased baking dish, followed by half of the sausage mixture and a layer of cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, sausage mixture, and top with the rest of the cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dish is bubbly and the cheese has melted to a delightful golden brown.
