Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Jalapenos, diced
  • Cream cheese
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Mix the diced jalapenos, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean, flat surface. Spoon a generous amount of filling mixture into the center of the wrapper.
  3. Fold the wrapper over the filling, tucking in the sides as you roll it up. Use water to seal the edges.
  4. In a deep pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  5. Carefully add the egg rolls to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove the egg rolls and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding cooked bacon or using flavored cream cheese. If you want them healthier, bake instead of fry.
