Description

A moist and decadent tres leches cake soaked in three types of milk, topped with whipped cream and fresh raspberries, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 package vanilla cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix package instructions. Grease your cake pan.
  2. Prepare the cake mix as instructed, incorporating the eggs, butter, and vanilla essence into the batter. Pour this into your greased pan.
  3. Bake the cake according to package directions, ensuring it cools completely once removed from the oven.
  4. Use a fork to poke holes all over the cooled cake’s surface.
  5. Combine the evaporated milk, condensed milk, and whole milk thoroughly in a mixing bowl. Pour this mixture over the poked cake and let it soak for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
  6. Spread the whipped topping over the soaked cake.
  7. Garnish with fresh raspberries before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider infusing the milk mixture with a bit of cinnamon or coconut. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-5 days.
