Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup protein powder (your choice of flavor)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips or dried fruit (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, protein powder, and vanilla extract.
- Use a spoon or spatula to mix until everything is well combined.
- If you like, fold in chocolate chips or dried fruit for extra flavor and texture.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet or plate.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for a quick snack later!
Notes
For best texture, let the dough chill long enough to firm up. You can also try adding a splash of your favorite milk if the mixture is a bit dry.
