Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the avocados in half and removing the pit. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Use a fork to mash the avocado. You can make it as smooth or as chunky as you prefer.
  3. Stir in the lime juice, chopped onion, minced garlic, diced tomato, and salt to taste.
  4. Mix everything together until it’s well-combined.
  5. If you’d like, gently fold in the chopped cilantro before serving.
