Description

A speedy, easy-to-make pizza dough that requires no time-consuming processes, perfect for busy weeknights or spontaneous gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Pour in the warm water and olive oil, stirring until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a warm location, cover it with a towel, and let it rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it reaches your desired thickness.
  7. Place the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet, top with your favorite ingredients, and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Slice up your homemade pizza and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to substitute all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour or a gluten-free blend. Store any leftover dough in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to a month.
