Description

A quick and easy way to make French toast for a crowd, baked to perfection with a warm custardy center and golden edges.


Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 8 slices Brioche bread
  • 1 Butter
  • Nonstick Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Lay the brioche slices in a single layer on the prepared sheet pan and pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread.
  4. Let the pan sit for a few minutes to allow the bread to absorb the mixture.
  5. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, adding extra maple syrup and butter if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using different spices like nutmeg or incorporating orange zest.
