Description
A simple yet profoundly satisfying dish that brings comfort and flavor together with garlic, olive oil, and fresh parsley.
Ingredients
- 6 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
- 797 g Spaghetti
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes (for a little heat)
- 1 tsp Salt (to taste)
- 4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive oil (the best quality)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for finishing)
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the spaghetti according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Don’t forget to reserve a little pasta water before draining!
- In a large pan set over medium heat, pour in the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic turns golden and aromatic.
- Toss the drained spaghetti into the pan, ensuring every strand is coated. If it appears too dry, add some reserved pasta water to help the sauce adhere.
- Mix in the fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt to taste.
- Serve your spaghetti immediately, garnishing with extra Parmesan if desired!
Notes
For a vegetarian option, skip the cheese or find a suitable substitute. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
