Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into strips
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Toss in the steak strips, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until well-coated and the cheese has melted.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For restaurant-quality flavor, ensure steak is at room temperature before cooking. Reserve some pasta water in case the dish needs moisture after combining.
