Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set it aside.
- Cream the softened butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, then gradually mix in the flour mixture until well combined.
- Press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan, using the rest as topping.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, vanilla, eggs one at a time, and sour cream.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center jiggles slightly.
- Allow to cool completely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Make sure cream cheese is softened for smooth texture. Consider using a water bath while baking to prevent cracks.
