Description

A vibrant and flavorful jam made with fresh cranberries and citrus, perfect for the holidays.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries and pick out any stems or bad berries.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, orange juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Transfer jam into clean jars and allow to cool completely before sealing.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks or freeze for up to six months. Adjust the sugar to taste and consider blending for a smoother texture.
