These Sweet & Spicy Cranberry Orange BBQ Meatballs are a delightful fusion of flavors, combining sweetness and spice, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag fully cooked plain beef meatballs (about 50)
  • 1 can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup spicy barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest (fresh)
  • 2-3 fresh rosemary sprigs (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary)
  • 2 tablespoons oil


Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs in a single layer, browning them on all sides for added flavor.
  2. Once browned, reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir in the cranberry sauce, orange marmalade, and spicy barbecue sauce until everything is well combined and heated through.
  3. Add the orange zest and rosemary. Allow the mixture to cook until bubbly and fragrant, ensuring the meatballs are thoroughly warmed.
  4. Carefully remove the rosemary stems before serving. You can serve them directly from the pan or transfer to a decorative serving dish or slow cooker.
