Description
Delicious bite-sized snacks featuring seasoned ground beef, creamy ranch, and fresh toppings on tortilla chips.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup diced lettuce
- Tortilla chips or mini taco shells
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until the meat is fully browned with no pink remaining.
- Drain any excess fat from the pan. Return it to the heat, sprinkle in the taco seasoning, and follow the packet instructions—typically adding a little water—to let the seasoning soak in.
- Once seasoned, transfer the beef mix to a bowl and stir in the ranch dressing until everything is well-coated.
- Spoon a generous mound of the beef mixture onto each tortilla chip or mini taco shell. Top with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of lettuce.
- Serve them immediately or arrange the assembled chips or shells on a baking sheet and broil for 1–2 minutes to melt the cheese and warm the dish.
Notes
For a lighter version, swap ranch dressing with Greek yogurt mixed with spices. Feel free to customize toppings based on preferences.
