Description
A creamy, flavorful dish that combines tender chicken with a rich butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy, then set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, scraping up any flavorful bits stuck to the bottom. Stir in the butter mixture until the sauce is smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the butter mixture for an hour before cooking. This dish can also be served over rice or mashed potatoes.
