Description

A zesty, buttery wing sauce that transforms ordinary chicken wings into an extraordinary culinary experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 pinch Cayenne or chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted Butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Keep an eye on it; you want it melted, not browned.
  2. If using fresh garlic, add it to the pan and sauté for about a minute until it’s fragrant.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, cayenne or chili flakes, sugar or honey, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt.
  4. Mix everything well and let it simmer for a few minutes until all ingredients are combined beautifully.
  5. Use this luscious sauce to coat your crispy wings, drizzle over chicken tenders, or serve as a dipping sauce with fries for a delightful twist.

Notes

Consider using fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
