Description

A quick yet impressive dish featuring succulent salmon with a bold, creamy, sweet, and slightly spicy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Green onion, chopped
  • 1 Lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar or lime juice, Sriracha, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
  3. Coat each salmon fillet generously with the sauce.
  4. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the salmon fillets in the pan, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a lovely golden-brown crust.
  6. Transfer the pan to your preheated oven and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve the salmon garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, alongside lime wedges.

Notes

For a twist, serve over jasmine rice or alongside a crisp salad. Properly stored leftovers should last for up to 3 days.
