Description
A quick yet impressive dish featuring succulent salmon with a bold, creamy, sweet, and slightly spicy sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 Salmon fillets
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Green onion, chopped
- 1 Lime, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar or lime juice, Sriracha, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
- Coat each salmon fillet generously with the sauce.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe pan over medium heat.
- Place the salmon fillets in the pan, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a lovely golden-brown crust.
- Transfer the pan to your preheated oven and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the salmon garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, alongside lime wedges.
Notes
For a twist, serve over jasmine rice or alongside a crisp salad. Properly stored leftovers should last for up to 3 days.
