Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Dill, fresh
- 1 English cucumber
- 1/2 White onion, sweet
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 8 oz Pasta, medium (like fusilli or rotini)
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to drain and set it aside to cool completely.
- In a large bowl, combine your cooled pasta with diced cucumber and chopped sweet onion.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, dill, salt, sugar, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the creamy dressing over the pasta mixture. Toss everything together gently but thoroughly to ensure that each ingredient is coated well.
- For the best flavor, refrigerate your pasta salad for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully!
Notes
For a creamier texture, consider mixing in Greek yogurt with the sour cream. Add a splash of lemon juice for extra brightness.
