Description

Indulgent rolls that beautifully balance sweet and spicy flavors, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • Feta cheese
  • Chili flakes or fresh chili peppers
  • Honey
  • Puff pastry or dough of your choice
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Optional: fresh herbs like parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine crumbled feta cheese with chili and honey in a bowl.
  3. Roll out your dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Spread the feta mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice it into equal pieces, about 1 inch thick.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let them cool for a couple of minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

For a creative twist, add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the filling. Honey varieties can also be experimented with for unique flavors.
