Ingredients
- Feta cheese
- Chili flakes or fresh chili peppers
- Honey
- Puff pastry or dough of your choice
- Olive oil for brushing
- Optional: fresh herbs like parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine crumbled feta cheese with chili and honey in a bowl.
- Roll out your dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
- Spread the feta mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice it into equal pieces, about 1 inch thick.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let them cool for a couple of minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
For a creative twist, add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the filling. Honey varieties can also be experimented with for unique flavors.
