Description

Deliciously rich and fudgy brownies made with black beans for a nutritious twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 can Black beans
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup Nuts or chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Rinse and drain the black beans, then blend them in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, maple syrup (or honey), baking powder, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extract to the blended beans, and pulse until fully combined.
  4. Stir in the nuts or chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Enjoy with vanilla ice cream, fresh berries, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for extra indulgence. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
