Ingredients
- 1 lb large Shrimp
- 1 Avocado
- 1/4 cup fresh Cilantro
- 1/4 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Powdered garlic
- 1/2 small Red or green cabbage
- 2 tbsp fresh Lime juice
- 1/2 tsp Sriracha sauce
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1 1/8 tsp smoked Paprika
- 1 Pinch Salt
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 8 small Corn or flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup Cotija cheese
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 Water
Instructions
- Toss the shrimp with olive oil, onion powder, oregano, powdered garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt until well coated.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the seasoned shrimp until pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
- While the shrimp is cooking, prepare the zesty lime sauce by mixing lime juice, Sriracha, Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave, just until they’re pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a few cooked shrimp on each tortilla, followed by sliced avocado and shredded cabbage. Top it all off with fresh cilantro, Cotija cheese, and drizzle the zesty lime sauce on top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15 minutes for deeper flavor. Adjust the spiciness of the zesty sauce to your liking.
