Ingredients

  • 1 lb large Shrimp
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/4 cup fresh Cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Powdered garlic
  • 1/2 small Red or green cabbage
  • 2 tbsp fresh Lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 1/8 tsp smoked Paprika
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 8 small Corn or flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup Cotija cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Water


Instructions

  1. Toss the shrimp with olive oil, onion powder, oregano, powdered garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt until well coated.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the seasoned shrimp until pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. While the shrimp is cooking, prepare the zesty lime sauce by mixing lime juice, Sriracha, Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave, just until they’re pliable.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing a few cooked shrimp on each tortilla, followed by sliced avocado and shredded cabbage. Top it all off with fresh cilantro, Cotija cheese, and drizzle the zesty lime sauce on top.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15 minutes for deeper flavor. Adjust the spiciness of the zesty sauce to your liking.
