Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blend together the rinsed black beans, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until completely smooth.
  3. Take a baking dish or a souper cube tray and grease it lightly to prevent sticking.
  4. Pour the smooth brownie batter into your prepared dish, filling it halfway to allow for puffing up.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the brownie tops appear just set.
