Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp
- 1/4 tsp Chili flakes
- 2 tbsp Dill
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Parsley, for garnish
- 1 cup Jasmine rice
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Butter, unsalted
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the Jasmine rice according to the package instructions until fluffy and tender.
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and opaque. Season with chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir in the butter until melted and combined with the shrimp.
- Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until everything is well-mixed and creamy.
- Toss the cooked rice with the chopped dill and parsley until evenly distributed.
- Serve the shrimp over the herb rice, drizzling any remaining sauce from the pan on top.
Notes
For perfectly tender shrimp, avoid overcooking; they should just turn pink and opaque. Adjust garlic to your preference. Lemon juice or zest can enhance the flavor.
