  • 1/4 tsp Chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp Dill
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, for garnish
  • 1 cup Jasmine rice
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated


Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the Jasmine rice according to the package instructions until fluffy and tender.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and opaque. Season with chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in the butter until melted and combined with the shrimp.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until everything is well-mixed and creamy.
  6. Toss the cooked rice with the chopped dill and parsley until evenly distributed.
  7. Serve the shrimp over the herb rice, drizzling any remaining sauce from the pan on top.

Notes

For perfectly tender shrimp, avoid overcooking; they should just turn pink and opaque. Adjust garlic to your preference. Lemon juice or zest can enhance the flavor.
