Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp dill, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: whole wheat buns, lettuce, tomatoes, or tzatziki sauce for topping
Instructions
- Prep the mixture: In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped parsley, dill, minced garlic, sliced green onions, salt, pepper, and crumbled feta cheese. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the patties: Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1-inch thick.
- Cook the burgers: Heat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly coat with olive oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Serve: Remove from heat, and if desired, serve on whole wheat buns with your choice of toppings like lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce.
Notes
For even better results, let the shaped patties chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
