Description

Quick and nutritious no bake granola bars, perfect for snacks, breakfast on-the-go, or post-workout energy boosts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats, old-fashioned
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or sunflower butter)
  • 1/2 cup optional add-ins (chocolate chips, dried fruits, or seeds)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Combine the rolled oats and a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt the nut butter and honey together in a medium saucepan over low heat until smoothly blended. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the warm mixture over the rolled oats and stir to combine.
  4. Fold in any optional add-ins for an extra flavor boost.
  5. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal. Press the mixture firmly into the dish in an even layer.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes to help the bars set.
  7. Remove from the dish, slice into bars, and enjoy!
