Quick and nutritious no bake granola bars, perfect for snacks, breakfast on-the-go, or post-workout energy boosts.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats, old-fashioned
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or sunflower butter)
- 1/2 cup optional add-ins (chocolate chips, dried fruits, or seeds)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the rolled oats and a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the nut butter and honey together in a medium saucepan over low heat until smoothly blended. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the warm mixture over the rolled oats and stir to combine.
- Fold in any optional add-ins for an extra flavor boost.
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal. Press the mixture firmly into the dish in an even layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes to help the bars set.
- Remove from the dish, slice into bars, and enjoy!
