Description

A warm, sweet strawberry cream cheese cobbler that’s perfect for gatherings and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese with half a cup of sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Pour in the milk and melted butter, stirring until combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Add dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the batter, followed by a layer of strawberries on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the cobbler is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
