A warm, sweet strawberry cream cheese cobbler that’s perfect for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mix the softened cream cheese with half a cup of sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Combine the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Pour in the milk and melted butter, stirring until combined.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Add dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the batter, followed by a layer of strawberries on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the cobbler is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
