S’mores Brownie Pie

Description

A delicious fusion of s’mores and brownies, featuring a fudgy chocolate base topped with crunchy graham crackers and toasted marshmallows.


Ingredients

  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract, pure
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 14 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 24 large Marshmallows


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
  2. Combine the egg yolk, eggs, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until well blended.
  3. Add in the melted butter and your choice of vegetable oil, stirring until combined.
  4. Incorporate the flour, cocoa powder, and salt gradually, mixing until smooth.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips along with the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pie dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until set but still moist.
  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly on top.
  9. Place the marshmallows on top, ensuring even coverage.
  10. Broil for about 1-2 minutes until toasted and golden.
  11. Cool slightly before slicing into wedges to serve.

Notes

For a stronger chocolate flavor, substitute with dark chocolate chips. Consider adding berries on top for an added tartness.
