Description

A refreshing homemade lemonade recipe that combines tart lemons with just the right amount of sweetness, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 fresh Lemons
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp fine Sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 6 cups filtered Water
  • Ice
  • Optional garnishes (mint or lemon slices)


Instructions

  1. Squeeze fresh lemons to extract juice.
  2. Combine the lemon juice with sugar and salt in a pitcher.
  3. Mix in 1 1/2 cups of water to dissolve the sugar.
  4. Pour in the remaining 6 cups of filtered water and stir again.
  5. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  6. Serve over ice with optional garnishes.

Notes

For the freshest taste, choose organic lemons and adjust the sweetness as desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 to 7 days.
